Modern Neutral Fall Home Tour

Updated: Sep 29, 2022

Hello friends and happy fall! I cannot believe the summer season has come to a close and we are headed towards the warm cozy months. This year has really flown by - would you agree? I have been fairly quiet on the blog this year. I've been taking some time off to focus on family and make memories. But given that fall an the upcoming holiday months are my FAVORITE time of year, I just couldn't resist putting together a fall home tour with my blogger friends! If you are new here or visiting from Pasha's home - welcome! If you have visited me before, thank you for checking out this post!

This fall, I really focused on making decor approachable. In the past I spent a lot of time redecorating every inch of my home, and this year I wanted something simple and sprinkled in. Instead of the usual overhaul, I decided to add in fall touches throughout my home. I didn't want a lot of color, so decided neutral whites, beiges, browns and some pink would be the ideal color palette. Let me show you what I came up with!

This year, I mixed and matched white, beige and floral stems throughout my home to keep all my floral arrangements consistent. Pairing the florals with candlelight and mini pumpkins completes the neutral fall look.

As we head into my great room, you will see similar florals and warm pillows and throws to add in that cozy factor!

In keeping with the neutral look, I mixed in a few accents of black. I really love how the patterns of these pillows go together to create a warm, inviting look for fall.

If you have visited my page before, you have probably seen these pears used over the years. They are always my go-to when creating a centerpiece. Years ago, I spray painted these faux pears with glossy white paint and added gold to the stems. They are a classic that I use in the fall and winter months.

One of my favorite things to style for each and every season are my built in shelves. It's such a treat to dress up sentimental items like family photographs with a fresh look each season. This year, I kept things simple by added a few florals and pumpkins to my shelves and I just love the look.

Let's now head into the dining room. The pumpkins I used for my centerpiece have been collected over the years. I added a few new rattan woven pumpkins this year and I love them paired with the white pumpkins and wooden candlesticks. I also love the contrast between the pumpkins and my dark dining table.

I added a little floral pop to the end my kitchen island as well as my bar area. I piled together several acorns and pinecones and added them to a DIY pedestal bowl for some height. Sometimes the simplest decor is enough to really add warmth for the season. I also added a white mum in a woven basket to add a pop of greenery in my dining room.
