Modern Spring Home Tour
Hey friends! Happy spring! I am very excited to be participating in this week-long blog hop with so many talented friends. Spring is always a special time for me. It's a time for new beginnings and for a refresh of my spaces. I'm usually so tired of the winter lull by this time of year, so I'll take any excuse to add some color back into my life (and my decor!). We have had such a steady wave of winter weather this year with little to no sun - I'm over it! Fingers crossed there are no more winter weather surprises and we are in for glorious sunshine. Let's get started on my Modern Spring Home Tour!
Since we have been slammed with winter weather and it is not quite warm outside, I still have a few cozy pillows and throws out. To welcome spring, I scattered a few pink florals in my great room.
Shelf styling is one of my favorite ways to decorate each season. I kept things fairly neutral this spring and hope to add more pops of color as the weather warms up.
My home is a total open-concept dream, so just behind my great room is my dining area. Having minimal walls keeps things airy and bright and is always a bonus when entertaining.
I came across these GORGEOUS purple and white ombre tulips when shopping at Trader Joe's and knew they would be perfect for the dining rom. I clustered them together in a vase and added a few more to my acrylic bar cart. I love how they pop against the white and black in my dining room.
I opted out of a traditional set table and just stacked some plates and cultery for a more casual look. I added a few tea light candles in mercury glass holders for a bit of warmth. What do you think?
